This information is just my opinion, but I have cleaned close to a thousand residential, commercial, and institutional air duct systems, furnaces and blowers. I have an excellent reputation & I am not one of the blow and go a**holes that sometimes give the industry a bad name.
In my opinion, the best portable equipment is made by Abatement Technologies (electric) or Meyers Equipment (gas). If you use a Rotobrush, you can make some residential money, but you are not going to do the customer much good. The Rotobrush is crap and way overpriced. If you use a Rotobrush and show the customer what you got out of their ductwork, most will say something like "is that all?" For the same amount of money, you can have a top of the line portable system (truckmount is much more). I have not used the duct cleaning attachments that connect to the CC vac hose, so I can not fairly recommend for or against. If you are trying to fit the duct cleaning equipment on your CC van as an add-on for your residential CC customers, you probably want to go with the attachments for the vac hose. You won't be able to fit the others unless you use a box truck. Just my opinion. PM me if you have questions. I'll try to help. CCandmore Edited by CCandmore - 05/November/2007 at 8:47pm |
