This information is just my opinion, but I have cleaned close to a thousand residential, commercial, and institutional air duct systems, furnaces and blowers. I have an excellent reputation & I am not one of the blow and go a**holes that sometimes give the industry a bad name.

In my opinion, the best portable equipment is made by Abatement Technologies (electric) or Meyers Equipment (gas). If you use a Rotobrush, you can make some residential money, but you are not going to do the customer much good. The Rotobrush is crap and way overpriced. If you use a Rotobrush and show the customer what you got out of their ductwork, most will say something like "is that all?" For the same amount of money, you can have a top of the line portable system (truckmount is much more).

I have not used the duct cleaning attachments that connect to the CC vac hose, so I can not fairly recommend for or against. If you are trying to fit the duct cleaning equipment on your CC van as an add-on for your residential CC customers, you probably want to go with the attachments for the vac hose. You won't be able to fit the others unless you use a box truck.

Just my opinion. PM me if you have questions. I'll try to help.

Since a cheap start-up was mentioned, IMO you are never going to find a better start-up cost than the the Turboteck system. It is the only one that will get you started for hundreds of dollars. Kleen Kuip sells them so you do not have far to get one if you are in Canada.
