Puddle
Need to know a bit more about the fabric to fully answer.
It could be wick back as sugested, this would depend on whether you prevacced the upholstery or not first. If you have not pre vacced and then over wet it which it looks like then I suggest you go back to reclean once it has dried out.
First fully vacuum then reclean using a low moisture tool and turbo dry.
If the upholstery has any natural fibres ( do a burn test) it may be a case of cell browning. This is usually easily rectified by recleaning ( keep ph under 11) and finishing with an acidic rinse ( ph between 2.5 & 4) to stop any rebrowning.Again use a low moisture hand tool and turbo dry. Start all over with tm and proper tool, like Prochem expensive tool. Spray with fiber rinse as a pre conditioner, extract with fiber rinse, dry pass, forced air. If unsure if this will work, try boost-all, buff-all, with a post rinse spray and forced air. Next time know what you are cleaning or get another career!

Fast Drying Upholstery Shampoo is the ticket.
Apply on the cleaner areas with a partially wrung out white hand towel and in the heavier dirt areas use a soft bristled brush (what I know as a gong brush). Go over the wet (damp) furniture with a low cost wet-dry vac. Put wax paper down on the cushion area of each sofa, loveseat or chair and have cushions forming tee pees or A's. Air movers speed along the process. If you are careful in not over applying, and if you are diligent in using the wet-dry vac you can have the upholstery dry or nearly dry before you leave. Of course, test for color fastness first. |

Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?
