Need some advice about cleaning tile and grout. Is the Rotovac 360 good for commercial tile and grout? Would you recommend another machine instead?
Thanks for the help. CCandmore |

I think I would go for a regular floor buffer. That is what I am doing.

The 360 does have a brush for tile and grout. Ted has the pictures for that on his site here that he can show you. Does a pretty good job too, but since the glides used on it are nylon, not teflon, it is not at it's best yet. Now that the carpet glides are finished, I am working on improving the glides for the tile and grout brush as well. They will be out before the Spring.

The Rotovac 360 is an excellent unit for consistent carpet cleaning. Yet it is also a good hard surface floor cleaner but in my estimation a little light weight for cleaning grout and extremely soiled floors.
Go to the Bonnet & OP Section and look at the before and after pics of hard surfaces & grout cleaned with OP Machines.

I have both the 360 and the sx12, I have to say I like the 360 for carpet
but I don't feel it touches a good spinner tool like a SX12. You can use
it to pre-scrub with.

I hate to instigate, but why are you guys scrubbing T&G? The right juice with 1000 psi takes it every time. An SX-12, red line or turbo spinner will outperform. az |

I agree with az., although heat is very essential for removing any build up, unless using the op way.

when I first started I was having a big problem with grout not coming really clean. It sucked because I would have to tell the custy why, and it also looked bad on me. So now my dwell time is alot longer and the 1200psi well dirt doesn't have a chance.
