Lets say your cleaning a carpet that is not really that dirty at all and you see no need to pre spray and agitate--are there any good cleaning chems that would be safe to run thru your porty and just do it that way--add in possibly using the rotovac 360 which i guess would give you some agatation.

I would recommend using Rotovac's chemical for that.  I believe it's called RPM3 these days.
It's ORY GUN, not OR A GONE. Learn to talk.

You have to try it kevinj61, as long as it's liquid. I like Tide with Fabreeze

I use HD DFC for prespray but no longer use 105 in the rinse. It eventually clogs the intake filter in the reservoir. I just use an acidic rinse now. Keeps the machine clean. I would rather prespray then rinse with fresh water than skip the prespray and use a rinse solution like you propose.

i do not mean skipping pre spray and just using a rinse in my porty--got to be a good quality "cleaner" that is safe to run thru machine other than just a plain old rinse solution
i've been in a few homes that are like spotless, carpets not dirty at all ( guess some people are just real anal) i would pre spray only for show more or less not giving more than a few miniutes of dwel then use a rines in machine to follow up. if carpet not dirty why waste time with pre spray, agitate and dwell time--why not use just use a good cleaner (not a rinse) in porty using the rotovac 360--so back to my original question of are there any "CLEANERS" that are safe to run thru machine ( I know you can't use a pre spray in machine)

Look for a low pH emulsifier so to keep the fibers near neutral when your done.
