Ok just for you Steamer. I recently tried doing a job with some Esteam CBS powder in my rinse. It kicked some serious ass. I also prespray with Ultrapac.

I did a Keg resturant with DFC degreaser (my fav for resturants) and emulsifier rinse and it went way easier - great results.

Question is is it bad to use this on emuslifier rinses on regular residential I always used to use Ultrarelease Acid rinse on everything before.
Pros- and Cons please. (most of you are pros and Kenny is a con)

We use an emulsifer on every job, residential and commercial. Never have a problem except on carpets that have been cleaned(soaked)by the customer and browned out. Those we use an acid rinse on. Once you try a good emulsifier on a residential and see how much better it can work, you too will be sold.

I did today on a regular carpet but it wasn't very dirty. What do you use as a prespray?

Of course we prespray. PD's question was about using an acid rinse or emulsifier on residential carpets.

We have a few jutes, but the browning comes from excess detergent use and poor extraction. We use the acid to lower the pH. Are you following me now?

First Step for prespray. Avenge for general, although we very seldom need a general. Anything the prespray won't remove usually requires a specialty like pog, rust, coffee, etc

For a prespray I have been using Citrusolv but it gets expensive. Some I know are using Zep Prep - haven't tried that yet?

Steampros Solutions. It's the best I've tried, and I've tried all the big name products

I haven't tried Zep Prep. I'm not a big Zep fan, although some of their products are good.

Who makes Citrusolv?
