Thats what I'm talking about John L/cmaster, this guy isn't seeking help, he's seeking pissing people off and that kind of ignorance has no place here IMO. |

and Arrogant ! I started 25 years ago with a portable , was I the best out there at the time? I thought so .....and that's all that mattered. It kept me going until I invested in a truck mount... the rest is history. I think bait and switchers and generally dishonest cleaners are the losers that we don't need in this industry....... A honest hard working owner operator with his or her first portable is " NOT a loser but a believer in the entrepreneurial way. If it's all you can afford, buy the best you can afford and keep plugging away.

He pulls his portable out of the back of the van, jumps on the elevator and presses the 25th floor ......If he owns a truckmount he tells the guy/girl very politely, "I'm sorry sir/maam I don't have the capability to clean the 25th floor with my truckmount", and then he gives him/her my number.

Here is my point...
When you seek a mechanic do you ask to see if he/she uses snap-on or craftsman?
or
a plumber "what type tools you have?"
really a customer wants "RESULTS"
they do not care if it comes from a portable or TM.
the secret in this industry is........
the chemical or lack of you are using to remove the stains/soils, the
machine removing it is secondary.
I have my own home-brew for tough stains.
remember I am crazy.
enjoy all!! I love you.

You can configure an oustanding portable system in a van that will impress nearly any customer. If you've got a porty with 2 14 amp boosters sitting out in your van and you run hose into the house, that thing is sucking a lot of air. I would use my own generator, too.
