We do a LOT of urine contamination service, and use PeeRadicator and apply it heavily to the carpet, let it dwell and KILL the bacteria and salts for 25 minutes, then we use dry pads to pick it up afterwar. 100% kill of odor. Our customers seem to think that is what they were paying for.. LOL

I use Vacaway green chemicals already with great success. I will give his urine treatment a spin.

Bucho, yes, this is discussed on pages 73-75 in the manual.
We found that chemically treating urine areas did better job.

Padman,
I've been doing some research on the challenger and your OP machines/products and will most likely choose yours, but have a few questions. I know why you pre vacuum, but why do you post vac? Does that cause problems with the vac especially the bag types? Do you encap your residential the same way you do your comm? If so, how does the custy react to the notion that they will have residue and have to vac the dirt later? Do you have a brush attachment so that I can brush in encap on commercial accounts? I see you have a white brush on your site, but it is a donut. I still can't seem to understand how you can actually inject a urine spot that is down to the pad and actually extract it? Currently am putting the office together preparing forms, bus cards, flyers, etc etc before purchasing my van and package. Thanks |

Sorry, but have yet another question for you related to SPORICIDIN DISINFECTANT SPRAY. How would you go about using this with OP?

I've been doing some research on the challenger and your OP machines/products and will most likely choose yours, but have a few questions.
I know why you pre vacuum, but why do you post vac? After Cleaning with OPE you are going to bring up a LOT more from the carpet, the nature of OP is to vibrate and lift, so a lot of crap comes up from deep down in the carpet pile. For example, you can vacuum for hours but run the OP and cat or dog hair will come up everywhere and roll into little balls.
Does that cause problems with the vac especially the bag types? No, because the carpet is just damp, it doesn't cause any problems with the vacuum, although you might need to clean the bottom of the vac out once a week or so.
Do you encap your residential the same way you do your comm? No, I PADCAP, which means I use an encap product but clean the carpet just as if I was using a regular cleaner, this gives the customer the best of both worlds, basically two cleaning methods in one.
If so, how does the custy react to the notion that they will have residue and have to vac the dirt later?
I don't tell them, because all they see is clean carpet, in their regular vacuuming they will remove more, they will see the benefit but not know why. Kind of an extra bonus to the customers.
Do you have a brush attachment so that I can brush in encap on commercial accounts? I have one, but don't like using it, again, I still clean with the GladPads and use the encap product. Straight encapping is not all it is cracked up to be. Why not give the customer MORE for the same price?
I see you have a white brush on your site, but it is a donut.
That is the grout and tile brush, which we use with anomaly. We did a 1000.00 bank job last week in three hours. It works great, spray, scrub, and mop up with the pads. Easy, fast and make great money to boot.
I still can't seem to understand how you can actually inject a urine spot that is down to the pad and actually extract it? Why extract it? Look, the point of the treatment is to KILL the smell, bacteria etc. It can be killed and taken totally out of play without adding additional moisture to the situation. Once killed, where it is in not of importance. I have never pulled up old carpet and found it all nice and clean underneath, no there is a lot of crap down there, but, if there is no bacteria or anomia or if there is no smell, why put water on it and make the problem worse?
Currently am putting the office together preparing forms, bus cards, flyers, etc etc before purchasing my van and package. Thanks You are more than welcome.

Simply spray it on, clean with a pad and then finish with a damp pad to rinse the carpet.

Whats a good OP machine for commercial use? Would a Cimex be best or are there better options?
