2.5 will ease the load on the blower, belts, shaft and clutch

Mytee 1003HV dual 3 stage vac 450 psi. according to manufacture can handle up to 150' hose. But I've only used 100' lots of suction carpets never over wet. use mostly rotovac rarely scrub wand.also has heater. has 2 power cords 19 amps each,

That's the porty I have. Blows breakers. I would never use more than 50' of hose on a porty

50 is the limit for me too....you need 50 at least so you don't have to bring the proty upstairs
