ken...I know you and know a LOT more about manufacturing than you.  I see you fumble around with a SIMPLE product like a glide.  You have NO CONCEPT what it takes to design, develop, launch and sustain a product.  I do because I have done it many times in the past.  IF and it is a big if, you get any of these off the ground, you will have taken enough rope to hang yourself.  I'm not even mentioning the reputation you have in the industry!

Good Luck...if you even try this you'll need it!

Don't wait for ken...he has a long history of not actually building things he posts about.  I think he said this was going to be released this past spring, but I'm not going to search for the exact post...besides, ken also has a tendancy to edit posts.

If you want a good porty that actually exists, PM Ed Valentine!

Dennis has a good point, i own a recoil 3 from Ed Valentine and it is a very powerful machine. I leave it outside for most jobs, it works the same at 25 feet or 145 feet ( I have different hoses, for different job types) VERY POWERFUL.

What do you have in your vehicle, a fresh water tank? I have heard great things about the Cross-americans, just, I do not own a proper van (Explorer), and do not plan on getting one.

Hafid-

P.S., I am not the same guy as Ken.

That porty will never work in Toronto or the GTA. even if it did work, nobody would buy it cause nobody wants a machine that use 2 cords. ask Ted

Ken did you know that in the GTA in many many building you can not bonnet with a Centaur Rabbit-3 or the Dustbane dual speed???

They run for 2-3 minutes then shut off (due to heat and amperage)

Just tell me if you were aware of this???

thank you

Many sincere THANKS to all above for mentioning our products and/or name. That great AND proven reputation is something that is extremely important to us .

Ken;

As you are aware of, we have been much "copied" and "cloned" in regards to our introduction and designs regarding CFM's/Air-flow; Power Booster Systems; high-flow GPM electric pumps, and alot more over the 28-29 years in this industry. In fact, I wouldn't hestitate to suggest that you were a student of ours,( like many others who became our eventual competitors ) and eventual believer to.

I do not mean to discredit you or what you are saying however, in an effort to "one up us" in "POWER" (this term is much different than EFFCIENCY btw), you have to be EXTREMELY careful not to blow every circuit in the house upon plugging in. This will become very frustrating for the operator and very embrassing to.

Now, after all these years and after our recent 1 1/2 year of a "very detailed electrical design" engineering project placing us, IMHO, years ahead of most everyone in this Industry in North America, and Europe, I can tell you that your suggested system is topped out and over the edge on power requirements on two cords, period.

End result:

                      B O O M !!!!!

The very best to all and to SMART buyers;

Ed Valentine

I was aware of this. I did work a year all over the GTA for a year with a portable you know. As for this machine not working in the GTA, you are wrong. I have had one of my protos working in the GTA now since May of this year, and it is doing fine. I sent it down earlier this year when I came down for Can Clean.

Ed: The secret how this machine runs on as little power as it does, is exactly that, a secret.Just like some competitors could not understand how the recoil3 machines you make drew as little power as they do with the components in them, you will have to wait a little longer to find out how I can operate an even more powerful system on simular amperage. I will give you a hint though: it is called efficiency.Engineered airflow always wins out over those that merely are assemblers of components.

LOL.

Check with Ted on the year I worked in the GTA for a year(1978-1979)with one of his old Steamex machines.

As far as the testing in the GTA is concerned, that was necessary to make sure it would run on the lower amperage service that exists in Canadian markets. My brother lives in the GTA, and has one of our customers testing it out there. It was not hard to send it down to there from here at the end of April before I left for that show.

Operation in the USA was never going to be a problem because of the 20 amp services available there. I figured if it would work in the GTA, it would work anywhere.
