Which Ed Valentine alias wrote this? Lets not get off the subject; Ed Valentine was caught and nailed fabricating a testimonial. He has been doing this sort of thing all over carpet cleaning forums with his aliases. A member at TMForum sent me a pm a short time ago, telling me that several of the posters on behalf of the Recoil had the same IP address; Ed Valentine's!!! LMAO!! And now Tank revealed Mr V's nonsense yet again.
BUSTED!!

I wonder if the attacking gang drinks then posts or if in fact they are all the same guy? Should we check their IPs from the logs here?
And to the immature Alexarz or whoever you REALLY are, I have enjoyed most posts on the board for the past 5 years but those belonging to you and your school yard gang took the board down to minimal posts. My thought is the actions of your gang is not about Ed, it is about making sure TMF takes down a board that is competing with it on such a high level it is losing revenue. What say the trinity of foolhardy motormouths? You did succeed at turning a competing board into another NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Ed's on other boards. Care to try you child like behavior on those? See how long before your accounts are deactivated and your posts deleted? It's easy to attack on a board not being monitored because the owners are busy with keeping their business alive and no longer have time to be active participants on their board for a single industry. How about you three go back to cleaning carpets if you can actually land a carpet cleaning job (other than family and friends) or find a job cleaning toilets at minimum wage. Leave the cleaning of carpets to the trained professionals and the manufacturing to those who have opinions only and aren't qualified to speak to the subject of engineering and cosmetic design like the un-holy trinity of fools. Pathetic lot of incompetent fools. And that is a watered down version of what I have to say about drunken losers like you three who are one. |

I dunno, duckcountry. They might be the same person. I considered the possibility that Mr. Steamer finally lost his mind and split off into four separate though almost identical personalities.
Some people only need a few emoticons and the ability to alter the size of their text to feel like a god. Go get 'em, tiger! Godspeed!

Jim, As usual, you make idiotic posts because you love Mr. Ed. It's nothing new from you. Just post "I love Ed, he's my hero", and just move on. We already know, but it's nice to see it. Instead, your posts make you look like a buffoon. The rest of you are absolutely pathetic if you don't see what he did as egregious. He advanced an anecdote, probably made up like most of his, and then presented this as supporting facts for his machines. He gave a phone number for Jan Sullins, a fine man, but one that distributes and sells his machines. If your machine is good, you don't have to lie, you don't have to deceive, and you don't have to create horsecrap anecdotes to sell it. Then, when you get caught, instead of being a man about it, try to somehow shift the conversation (like others here try to do) to something else. This man has been caught using multiple IDs with the same IP address, posting to himself and how wonderful his machines are. How can someone have self-respect and do this? Why can't he be honest and sell his machine by facts, instead of bizarre anecdotes he makes up and then gives phone numbers of his distributor. Why are you lapdogs not seeing why this is bad? Are you all of equally dubious character you can't see this misleading and dishonest approach to doing business is wrong? Would you do this to your customers? It's shameful, and disgusting. I don't understand why that's hard to see. |

It's doubtful he'll be able to buy anything new. The ironic part of this stumbling buffoon is, he criticizes posts, while making exactly the type of post he was criticizing. Instead of seeing the value in exposing a vendor who creating a misleading post to gain sales, he'd rather attack the people that brought this to light. You really think this dimwit will ever afford a portable? Or even find a cosigner? Maybe he'll be able to rent a Rug Doctor from time to time for the important jobs, but anything more might just be a bridge too far. |

All right let me set the record straight and yes I did recieve my first XPS "Second
Edition"! And yes we did clean the carpet in both our sons rooms which were
pitted out. The machine more than lived up to how I thought it would perform.
I knew the pump would be a big improvement but until you actually use it you
can't appreciate it. Also the improvement in the vacuum of the "Second Edition"
was a pleasant suprise(actually Ed made the decision to change the primary vacuum model during a conversation where I pointed out he had a couple amps available on that circuit without blowing them). Naturally this was quite gratifying as this is the
one machine that I had something to do with. Not a giant improvement but noticable.
My sons and wife were both impressed with the vacuum . And yes I had them feel
the difference of when the built booster vac was on or off. They all could tell the difference in air velocity and air flow!!
One more important fact is that I did email Ed relating these very things
that you read in his post previous.

Speaking of which, how is YOUR credit, Alexarz? Been turned down lately? It happens with some people who have yet to grow up. I don't need a co-signer because I can afford to pay cash. You on the other hand probably need to take out a loan for a latte. Am I right or am I right? |

LOL! I am not even going to bother reading the dreadfully verbose poem above. However, this is a typical Mr Ed retort, having nothing at all to do with the subject or criticism at hand. TA152 pointed out that Mr. Ed fabricated a testimonial and pretended it was legitimate. This is a very dishonest practice that he continues to use on various forums. We didn't ask for some half a$$ poem, Mr Ed. We would prefer a tearful and heart-felt apology.
Based on your theory above, Mr Ed, do you surround yourself with shysters, liars, deceivers and make-believe fools?
In order to be fair, truthful and balanced, I have to admit that Mr Ed Valentine had his way with his harshest critic, Locko "The Janitor" and shook him up so soundly that he now praises the Recoil like an avid admirer. I can't take that victory away from Mr Ed. However, this is a different forum and I don't think he is going to run into any buckling cowards over here. I suggest that he repent his sins and apologize to the members of this forum. It's the right thing to do.
I'm all eyes and ears, Mr Ed and at the interest of encouragement, I will forgive you should your apology come across as sincere.

Ed, Nice try, but you're not the victim here. You're the deceiver. You could have handled this in a positive way, but took the negative approach and tried to disparage me, after you got caught with your deception. Sadly, because of degenerates like yourself, people like I have to point out your deceptions so you don't fool other people. This could be negative or positive, depending upon perspective. What you did was purely negative - deception to sell something is really bad karma. Then, your response after getting caught was purely negative, instead of being "noble" and apologizing and repenting your vile ways. You are not a noble man. You're an ignoble salesman, who sells sizzle, not steak. That's why you disgust me. There's nothing pure or open, or honorable about the way you're behaving. Your hypocrisy in presenting a poem and trying to portray yourself as somehow noble after your attempted deception strikes me as the height of hypocrisy, and a bit insulting if you think people are that stupid. You got caught in a deception. That's not noble. That's not positive. That's not "cool". That's just you. You should have just admitted your mistake, and grown from it. You had an opportunity to grow. You still do. But, you'll take the low road, which is your path in life. |

Jan, First, on a personal level, you know I like you and think you're a good guy, if perhaps misguided sometimes. So, I apologize if what I'm going to say is offensive to you. I hope it won't be. But, your post is more damning than helpful for Mr. Ed. For one, by spelling out what you told him, and never mentioning you sent him the email he published, you are tacitly acknowledging that he fabricated it. At best by things you said, but you're loyalty to him would make you say what you could to defend him, so I have doubts there as well. This is a man you've called a genius, and a great guy, etc..., but he really needed for you to tell him he had a few amps free on a circuit? This engineering genius couldn't figure out anything so simple? That's what I'd call a dolt. Also, that you have such conversations with him shows the intimate relationship you two have, which again calls into question your veracity, even if he did publish your email word for word (which we know, he did not). But, even with that, you bring in another point against him. Wouldn't you think the person that was responsible for the change would be favorably disposed towards it? We all have egos, after all. But, nope, just act like it is a customer and hope the readers are too stupid to figure out it's his distributor. Oh, and then a distributor who is super close to him, and even figured out the change. No, that wouldn't call into any questions of the anecdote, would it? Would you do something like this? If he'd just be honest, and straightforward, he'd avoid these situations. But, as long as he's a snake, I'm going to be watching and I'll catch him. He's not a genius, at all. He's an easy target. So, tell him to start being open and honest, and we'll all be happier. And he'll probably sell more machines too. It's the best policy, in the long run. Deception, like all devilry, leads to a bad end. |

What Ed did was post on this thread , is the email that I sent him! He never solicited
the email. I was excited and anyone can tell that by the way I praised and defended
the XPS Second Edition. In my post on this thread I didn't go back and copy and paste the email I just verified that what he posted was mine!!!! I was not attemping to say exactly what I said in my email to Ed . I am not that good and do not have that good of memory ! IF YOU knew Ed you would know for instance he is not going to say something
about LSD or must be on a bad trip! That is something I would and did say as I have had
experience using drugs when I was young. Ed never touched the stuff and that is
JUST NOT HIS STYLE!. Now come on you know that he does not express himself in that manner.
Please don't try to make something out of nothing. Ed Valentine is a good freind
and yes we talk about things concerning the Recoil 3XPS. I have many times made
recommendations to Ed about certain components. He almost always listened patiently and explain in a reasonable way why he isn't going to that. Everytime he was right. Once when we were talking about improvements such things which cost a fortune and in my opinion were not necessary .So I told him that I had been thinking about what if we made a modest change since we had a couple amps available. By adding the current primary 3 stage we were able to get probably
25 more CFM without tripping breakers. It is close however and we had no problems with the setup as it was. He told he would think about it. Later he called
me and infromed that we were going to go with what is now the current primary 3 stage.
A proud man a man that you have described would not take any advice from
anybody. He respects my veiwpoint as he knows that nobody outside of his
own family wants Cross-American to be successful more than myself!
Ed knows this!
I am fairly knowledgable about vacuum and vac motors ,positive displacement
vacuum pumps and things like that.
But lets be clear it was Ed who taught me how to see how to get more vacuum
out of the limited amount of amperage available in residential and commercial
workplaces. So I don't know how to make it more clear that Ed is what I say
he is! If my word is not good enough then there is just nothing else to say!
