Admit what? I would put what I do up against what you do any day of the week. And NO I haven't seen your work. But I have gone up against so many guys in my travels, and surprised so many, that I doubt you would be any different. Do NOT mistake that for arrogance, it is just what I have experienced over and over.

10 out of 10 times it will look better why???
there is dirty and chemicals left on fiber that need to be rinsed.
so don't come with your bull try to make a guy look like an idiot.
If you knew anything about cleaning and not just your one version of...you would know the truth.
OPEN YOUR EYES... you can't because you don't have enough experience with different types of cleaning, your living in a world with rose colored glasses.

Ok kiddies, settle down...
![]() truth is that both forms of cleaning are valid and oddly you are both right - in the right situation. I use both forms and in conjunction with each other, you'll perform miracles. the point both of you are missing however is not how it appears directly after cleaning, but how it looks and performs after drying, in particular 1 - 2 months AFTER the fact. That will provide all the proof you need and will stop any further argument. Mr Steamed-up, I have jobs that I have struggled with my U-Beaut T/M to clean and are a walk in the park that stay cleaner longer after encapping and the carpet has improved over subsequent cleans! By the same token Padman, I have jobs that I prefer to steam clean as they're jobs that padding is just too awkward and time-consuming to do, particularly in heavy spill situations on wool carpets; it just won't cut the mustard! But when you have a truly trashed carpet, nothing beats extraction then encapsulation cleaning. Both forms of cleaning are valid, it's a shame some people can't see past their own noses! ![]() ![]() |

I just did the Ground floor of a Sears store VLM.... I would never truckmount it... it looked great. They where so happy...I was happy I got paid... but in my heart I know that it could have looked better if I rinsed it... but I didn't want to take the chance... it would have taken to long to dry and the wickbacks would have been a killer...
Padman you missed my point.....padding looks great but it's not truly clean and the carpet doesn't look as clean and as bright as it could...
the problem with steam is that you never get the down deep dirt hense the wickbacks.
There is tons of soil embedded into the backing.
op you don't even come close to that dirt ...just off the top cleaning...like a hair cut alittle off the top...
if you can't agree with that padman you know sh*t about cleaning.
This is the straight up truth

Padman can change his pads often because he's the pad importer any paying a fraction of what the hacks in Toronto pay for their pads...thats why they show up on the job with 1 pad LOL.
I met a guy in Toronto who drove all the way to Alabama to buy a machine & pads. How bad is it when you have to drive 20 hours one way to buy diapers?
![]() I also seen a guy with an OP machine using red buffer pads hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I wonder who taught him that trick?

See, I disagree with you, if you knew how many times I posted on the BBS that I was going to be in a cleaners town and asked if they had any bad spots for me to try to fix for them, funny thing is, on the BBS they all said NO, yet when I got to their homes, usually they had from 2-5 suck spots at different clients places. So far I took care of ALL those problems, usually the problem was wickbacks, they "thought" padding dry cleaned so I wouldn't get wickbacks, I SHOWED them that is NOT TRUE, I dug down and got dirt out they COULDN"T flush out, pad after pad of filth, once the pads lightened up, I told them they wouldn't see any more wickbacks, guess what? They didn't.

Steamer, I guess in the end, you are just plain "dense".
And calling me a liar is stupid, because I have willingly backed up what I say over and over throughout the years and spent a lot of money doing and proving it.
NOBODY gets all the dirt out of a gravity fed medium, the question is who makes the job last longer, look better and produce the happier customers?
If you "think" hwe gets down deep and cleans, you really don't understand cleaning do you? What color do you think the water is that you leave in the carpet?
all you have done is bring me back to my first post to you...
If you are a louse at Padding Steamer, maybe you are a louse at steaming too?

Padman you've just run around the issue...
you are talking in circles..
my statement was ...
the OP is a "look clean" machine....
you with your dense lying ass won't admit that.
I didn't ask you if it was cleaner than steam.
but you pulled steam cleaning into it, because thats the only way you can defend your "look clean"method.
READ ALL THE POST FROM THE START TAMPADMAN
no mention about steam in my post..until you brought it into the debate
I simply asked you.. what you tell your customers... the fact is you sell an even layer of dirty that "looks clean" but is actually not.
but you can't answer that...
now you've made it about op staying cleaner longer...SHUT UP !
since you can't answer the damn question... I'll answer it for you
OP makes the carpet look consistantly clean, it cuts down on wick backs and has a fast drying time that the customers like. It is eye pleasing...
WARNING keep hwe away! accidently taking a swipe at the op cleaned carpet you will find it still dirty. the op carpet "looks clean" but is not as optically bright as it could be. Rinsing does bring up the brightness... but causes other problems. so to keep the customers happy just use the OP. The customer only cares if it looks clean because they don't know any better.
TAMPADMAN chemicals are rotting your brain, you need to get it rinsed once in a while...lol

I had an opportunity of seeing Johnny G's Sprinter Van and "On-the-Road Equipment Display". It was quite a sight to behold; very nicely done. He has the absolute Best OP equipment IMHO, hands down.
And, he is a terrific Gentleman with alot of knowledge in that particular field of endevor.
Now, for Jack, the NightRider, I would suggest that he Special Orders one with headlights! Then he can change his name to: DayRider
very best;
