Help On Chemicals

Just getting Strated in the business and need some input on cleaning chemicals. I am using a portable and chmicals from cleancraft. THe main chemical is called Code Green. It is a prespray, spotter, and what I use in my extractor. It is doing a very good job, but is expensive. I would like a all in one product like this and try to save $ also. Can anyone tell me about the product they are using and the cost and how to get some to try. Or should I take the attitude that if it is working don't screw with it.

Its ALL expensive.! Buy in 5gal pails..

I switched to Bonnet cleaning and watched my per sqft costs drop like the Biggest Loser drops the pounds.  And fast drying times are a major selling point.  Plus passing on a part of the savings means lower prices for the customers while still getting higher profits.

I will keep the porty for some mall stores that specify it.  It has its place but being open minded to alternatives keeps my costs down.  FreshAire is right about true costs of chemicals.  I use a Heavy Duty version of the cleaner I employ in cleaning with low moisture because the RTU is much lower due to a better dilution rate of chemical to water and shipping costs remain the same whether I have cases of regular or heavy duty sent to me.

Do the math, look for the cheapest way to do what the customer wants done.  But you have to do your own homework Kelly.  We can provide hints but not answers.

Try www.Magicwandcompany.com I get 95% of my stuff there. For a prespray I use their Powdered Power Prespray. It is good stuff. I aslo spray it from a pump up sprayer (that saves the life of my extractor).

That may be, but I havent come across many things that I cant get out.

I have never really hurt due to that. Let's see $3.78 and that 2 gallons will prespray a job that brings in close to lets say a $400 job (likely more). Even if all my chems cost that much, that is one heck of a profit margin.

It costs more to drive to the job than the cost of the pre spray.
