I use cleaning solution for carpets when stain is an oil one and water when stain can be deleted fast, in first minutes. Last solution is cleaning service, they know their job, personally i give my carpets one time per year for a generally cleaning to maintain their good condition and aspect.

Even the toughest stains is possible to be removed when you know how to do this. - Professional cleaning services would be the reasonable solution.
