Your Carpet Cleaner should fix this for free. He/she did not do a good job if your carpets are wet. You may get mildew also.

It's unlikely you have anything other than over wet carpets due to your carpet cleaners lack of ability. Your carpets smell bad as would a pile of wet clothes. Solution = get them dried asap. Call your carpet guy back and complain. Let him know if he doesnt fix it he will get the bill for the drying.

Hi all. I am sorry to bombard your discussion board but I need help. I had my carpets cleaned on Thursday (today is Saturday) and they seemed to be wet for a long time. Now my house smells like mildew. I have turned on the whole house fan but nothing seems to be working. We have been dealing with extremely humid weather up here, I don't know if that is the problem. But should I call my carpet cleaner...and what should I say? Should he fix it?
Thank you!
