Hi all. I am sorry to bombard your discussion board but I need help. I had my carpets cleaned on Thursday (today is Saturday) and they seemed to be wet for a long time. Now my house smells like mildew. I have turned on the whole house fan but nothing seems to be working. We have been dealing with extremely humid weather up here, I don't know if that is the problem. But should I call my carpet cleaner...and what should I say? Should he fix it?

It's unlikely you have anything other than over wet carpets due to your carpet cleaners lack of ability. Your carpets smell bad as would a pile of wet clothes. Solution = get them dried asap. Call your carpet guy back and complain. Let him know if he doesnt fix it he will get the bill for the drying. ------------- Dont treat people like customers. Treat them like friends. |
