I would spray Chemspec Heavy Duty Soil Lifter on it, then agitate with a dry absorbent terry cloth towel, then apply Prekleen for Upholstery, then extract with textile rinse. Whatever you do don't use a carpet prespray because the wetting agents will push the oils down into the cotton and then you are screwed.

Mist them with acid rinse after cleaning
