Yep im not kidding.   I attended a mowhawk university class this weekend and found this out.   It's going to be released by dupont.   It's  going to be possibly somday replacing all nylon.    Its called short 3gt.   Its full name is polimere.    Its softer than tacctesse nylon,  bleach safe yes i said bleach safe,   cleanability is excelent, doesnt fade,   and has same retention charicteristics of nylon.     I  am honesty thinking about getting some stock in dupont.   b/c when this is realeased its going to be huge.    The man who told us this is a trainer from dalton georgia.   ANd the really cool thing is that this stuff is not petroulum base.   Its made from corn oil.       ANd this will get you canuks excited,   they already have a manufaturing facillity in canada.    PS. no harm intended  to all you great canadians.

oh yea this stuff also cost less to make wich in turn means higher profit for carpet stores yea yea!

I remember the polyester and olefin hype as well, TIME will TEST it and NOTHING else.

Sounds good, but I am VERY wary of new fibers.

I dont know im sure like anything it will take some time.   But with it being bleach safe i would say your current cleaning method wouldnt hurt it.    Time will tell.
