My wife dragged me out to the new impressive mall called Vaughn Mills in the GTA.

You just have to see for yourself. At least 98% hard surface flooring everywhere. Tile, marble, concrete, ceramic even the mall common area is all finished hardwood.

Mr. Carpet Cleaner look around. Times are a-changin' are you? Less and less installed carpet and more and more hard surface.

Selling carpet cleaners only, I have found my business volume declining. That is why we are now offering the http://www.kleenkuip.com/products/turboHybrid_hardSurface.htm - Turbo Hybrid  to connect to existing carpet cleaning equipment. Enabling carpet cleaners to effectively & efficiently clean hard surface flooring.

http://www.kleenkuip.com/products/centaur_rabbit-7_sm.htm - Plus the No Dust, No Mess Woodpecker for refinishing and sanding hardwood floors.

We are ready when you are.

once I get a course for it,,ceramic tile will be a good add on service.

but residentially I don't see that huge a trend to hard floors,,it's just too dang cold for hard floors around here.

Actually I've seen alot of people switch to hard floors and go back to carpet because they are HARD,and cold.

That is what Mr. Steamer claims Doug. Actually I think it boils down mainly to 2 things. Mainy are house poor. That is, there is not alot of disposable income left after buying the expensive houses there. The second factor is proberly even more important. Toronto's racial mix has changed drastically over the years since I lived there over 25 years ago. Whites are now a minority. Most of the more recent arrivals have it as a part of their culture to bargain for everything and spend as little as possible. Little wonder that the $10/room guy has little trouble finding receptive customers. lol
