Steamin... I knwo this sounds crazy... why don't you sell out your invoices...

There are companies that will buy your AR less a percentage... at least this way it keep the cash flowing in...

or maybe an incentive of your own.. like less 2% net 10 days or something like that...

I know what it is to wait on money...and I hate it

Part of the commercial scene, you need to allow for this in your pricing.

Some companies will pay with credit cards as they collect air miles, you can try that route.

Otherwise 30-60 days is common wait time to receive payments on commercial work.Ouch

Sometimes even 120days.... the bigger they are.. the longer it takes to get payment...

If you're a small company it's hard to make ends meet without cash flow

you have to add 2.25% for invoices that run over 30 days... unless you agreed on a 90-120 day payment plan

most of them aren't all that late (the largest ones $$)

it's just a rough spot cuz I just bought a new van , TM and the guy that was supposed to buy my old van backed out of the sale at the last minute

no biggy, just made the last payment last Monday.

it's just tough when a little guy like me has that much owed to him.

I should offer a discount for early payment though

Just go to the delinquent's place holding a chain saw, isn't that how things are done on Prince George ??

That a boy Steamin.... If you do... they start the one in one out thingy....

I know you're saying huh????

when you clean it this time they'll pay you for last time...but this time doesn't get paid until next time...

Services should be paid right way...... It's not proper business practice to treat service the same way the do materials...

really you should be paid right away... but the things we do to get accounts

Cmon doug... unless your ISO 9000something or a big name... the little cleaner guy has a hard time getting any company to sign a contract...

Mainline np

Service Master np

Hurley np

Mr. Steamer..... hello no, they won't sign...

It's the companies with the flash cards... and the marketing folder with the shinny covers that get the contracts....

The company that has a sales staff...where everyone is blonde hair'd blue eyed and pull up in a BMW....

A company that is willing and able to give kick backs...one place I worked I remember a golf membership was given to the GM...

It's not who you know... it's what you do for them once you get to know them

doug when I sit down at the end of the month... I see large dollars... but I also see large expenses...

I might be better off in a job.... but I like being the boss... and I'm my only employee...so I treat me good...

In carpet cleaning cash isn't a hard thing to come by..... this week in tips alone I made a hundred bucks...

I can truthfully say... that my wallet is never empty
