Question for you guys.  With the insurance world seeming to change and there being a  much longer time from an initial call and getting a coverage determination.  How are you guys going about knowing when to start demo and mitigation without knowing for sure if coverage will be extended.  Hate the thought of ripping someones house apart only to find out that for some reason coverage was denied.  Also don't want to wait for up to a few weeks to get a determination and start then.  Thoughts?

One approach could be getting some pre-approval or a preliminary assessment from the insurance company. That way, you have a better idea of what you're working with before diving into the demo and mitigation. It might take a bit of extra paperwork, but it could save you from headaches down the line.

It's advisable to consult directly with insurance professionals or legal experts to get advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
