No website yet. I do have a face book page (Nick's Carpet Care Service) I do have a few photos on there. I work with a portable extractor

I'm thinking of getting the rotovac ranger and the rotovac wand. Any suggestions on a better portable.

The Rotovac 360 with the Jaguar 6.6 as far as presentation goes should do nicely for you.  Something as simple as booties left for the client and you wearing booties, white bath mats left outside for the duration of the job, styrofoam blocks vs those little plastic sheets, asking them to walk through the job ... these are the things that make the biggest difference, that and asking for referrals, keeping them on a monthly newsletter list, calling to make sure things are good, offering warranties and guarantees, reminder postcards.  Raising your perceived value in the eyes of the client and because most cleaners can think of a million reasons why they do not do these things, you will kick their butts in the marketplace.

Its funny that you mention that about the booties bcuz I always leave them for the customer to walk on the carpet til its completely dry and I let them know to vacuum once dry. I also let them that I will come back to clean again if they not satisfied.
