Hi all, new to the forum.
Looking to hire a carpet cleaner. RugDoctor seems to be everywhere but are the machines any good or is it just a successful franchise? I want to clean my carpets but some people have told me RugDoctors are rubbish...
Thoughts?

I can get a Karcher machine from several carpet cleaner hire companies like http://www.carpetcleaner-hire.co.uk - http://www.carpetcleaner-hire.co.uk. But are they any good compared to RugDoctor?

I have used a rug doctor and got very good results... but I've done this before and know what I'm doing. Karcher machines are usually hard on the back IMHO (especially if you are on the tall side). If I had my druthers I would use the Rug Doctor but thats just me. Hope this helps.

http://www.carpetcleaner-hire.co.uk rents machines and are not even close to skilled carpet cleaners. Their site is pathetic and the machines are not going to do when a pro performs the right steps to restore the carpet. Go to http://www.cleantalk.co.uk/ based in the UK and learn more about selecting a carpet restoration and care professional.
