I worked for a company that used a truck mount and when it broke down we had to use a Mytee 200 or 250 PSI non heated portable that cleaned absolutely terrible compared to what I was used to.  Needless to say I'm starting my own business and only have about $2000-$3000 to spend on a portable.  I'm looking for the best unit I can get and what your suggestion is for PSI and water suction.  Any help is appreciated.

When I called the sales rep from the company he told me these machines need at least 18amp outlets to run on and a lot of the condos I will be cleaning are old and will keep tripping up the breakers!  That's the only problem with that machine.

Electric stoves and driers use 220 - plan on a mytee converter as well then.
Or go OP.
If you want to tell me an old condo doesn't support an electric dryer, I have to ask what third world country you are in that calls an apartment a condo.

K;

You must have a real problem with those particular condos. I have been in this Industry since 1977 and, yes, I have come across a "particular" situation; however, I never made my final decision on selecting a Fantastic system based on just that particular acct.

Your machine that you did not care for is only a basic machine. If it has 2-2 stage vacs, and a 250 psi pump, you are at 20 amps, period. Or, if it has 1-3 stage and 250 psi pump, you are probably at 16 amps.

You will never find "the best" portable that will not draw amps.
Gman was referring to our JAGUAR Series of equipment.
We have either the 5.7, or the 6.6.   The 5.7 would draw fewer amps:
1-cord: approx 13.5 amps
2nd cord:  approx 18 amps max--if psi is turned up to 500 psi.

Anyways, never forget that there are 99% more job locations out there than just that "particular" condo account.

Hope this helps;
Ed Valentine

Thanks for the replies.  Ed..I was wondering what the difference is in the 5.7 and the 6.6   Are either of these machines heated?  Also what would it cost to ship one of these things to Hawaii.  These are all factors I have to figure in with my budget.  Thanks for all your help.

Howzit?  Aloha from Kauai.  I'm thinking about going with the Jaguar depending on how much shipping is to Kauai.  I'm on a budget to start because I still need to find a van or truck to carry my equipment around.  Any tips on business in the islands that would help would be great.  Aloha.

Kauai;

I know that many of the people who live on Paradise Island (Hawaii) will have things shipped to a location in Cal. Then they arrange their own shipping over from there. many times, that will save freight costs.

Does that possibly make sense?

Thanks;
Ed Valentine

Yes it makes sense but I'm wondering how much it would cost if you guys sent it straight to Kauai.  Also, does this unit come with a wand and hose or do I have to purchase that separate as well?  I need to order in the next couple weeks so I can start making $ as soon as possible.  Bless you.

Lets do this:  I suggest that we cross that bridge when we get to it. In other words, when you are ready to go because there are several variables in terms of quoting prices way before actual purchase/shipment. I think that makes more sense at this point.

Many thanks for your consideration.

Ed V. I am interested in the new Jaguar 6.6 but I would like to see a pic of the internals and can you let me know if the vacs have an exhaust connector on the body panel? Also, I would like to know if the Jaguar could handle the extra lift of two vacs in series added to the back of the machine. Do you have any pics of the new handle?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Ed...I need to know how long it will take to ship this here.  Let me know the options because I'm going to order one.  Which would you suggest?  What are the advantages/disadvantages of the two machines?  How long will it take to get one here to the island of Kauai?  I need to get started ASAP.  Thank you for your time and help.  I really appreciate it.

Buy the 6.6 or you might regret not having the extra power.

Have a look at the Master Blend Master Force as well....

It sells for around the same price as a 6.6, has more features,  are rock solid and they use only quality internal parts....more bang for your buck. IMO....

YOU are dead wrong. Don't really care about you wanting to dump your machine because if it was so great I'm sure you wouldn't part with it.

And, btw, YES, we do know who you are, so be very careful with your "back-dooring" someone above with all your BS about our products.

i want to help you!

i hope you did not get the 6.6!!!!

i'm not trying to get you to buy anything....just do not get the 6.6!

i have a friend that is an authority on portys....i will explain why i tell you this if you have not yet made a decision!

sorry about the "lower case" writing, my shift button is stuck....

my cell number is 8-4-3-2-9-5-3-4-0-2 if you would like to call, i just want to save you from being very dissapointed!

please do not mention this in the thread, i do not want to hurt ed's feelings!
i see i'm too late, you will see why over time....

i hope that your chasis stands the test of time compared to others....

also, did you notice that 98% of all portys are made from durable roto-molded polyethylene????

Ed is a nice guy, but the price of this machine is 1100.00 to high!

they took every avenue they could to build an inexpensive machine, yet charge expensive machine prices.

i do not want you to feel bad about your investment and hope that it is super reliable for you.

it will clean well in the beginning...over time, those cheap plastics will lose their structural integrity, unlike roto molded polyethylene.

Good- luck!

Auto-fill and Auto-Drain are standard, right? for the 2600.00 price?

 how much was shipping?

did it come with an external heater for 2600.00?

i sure hope it came with a wand and all the hoses/lines for 2600....

AGAIN, I WANT THAT THIS MACHINE WILL HOLD UP FOR YOU FOR A LONG TIME!

SHAKA BROTHA!

These were some messages that absoluteclean sent to me telling me not to get a Jaguar 6.6  I figured if he were warning me in private than all the other forum memebers might need these guys "expert" advice so there's no sense in hiding this "great info" in a private message box.  It seems to me that everyone is out to get cross american.  What I've learned over the years is that when people are attacking a company or individual that's usually the ones you want to buy from because they are doing some things right and honest and getting attacked for it.

Ed, you are not the professional that I thought you were, not one bit!

I have had people knock my product for years or had people recommend other products to people, it's normal Ed.

The one thing I never did was make a threat to those people, they could be potential customers one day, also, I too did not like people knocking my product/s, I dealt with it and moved on, certainly never threatened anyone.

Learn to relax, defend your product, but control your temper and threats or you may lose the respect of potential prospects, where does that get you?

Nowhere.

AClean.

Ed, another thing. I was in total shock when I saw you carrying on arguments with forum members, floored actually.

I thought because of your position, you had to carry yourself above such behavior and ignore the folks who are not in favor of your product.

You have been Blessed with a great marketing strategy, it works well and peaks tons of interest, but to make post such as the one to me (keeping in mind that I did it in a private manner; for 2 reasons, 1 not to hurt your feelinbs because you seem to be a really nice man, 2, so as not to show EVERYBODY my feelings about your product.) and the post to others that piss you off, I feel only hurts you more than helps.

if you happen to make a post that does embarrass the person you may be sparring with at any given time on these forums; your still losing really.

Please hold yourself in a higher standard than to make those types of posts, to me or anyone else, you will win more in the end.

"kill em with kindness".

You do the selling, we'll do the arguing.

kaui posting my pm on here means nothing to me, it just shows the truth about his character and sadly yours as well Mr. Valentine.

Post all you want, it's nothing new what i told him, it is on many forums, i just chose to try reduce the amount of public negative exposure about your product; now, you are shining more negative light on it yourself.

I'm not trying to sell anything on here, you are.

kaui, if your Dad knew what you were doing right now, he'd be upset with you, I know mine would!

Please understand that it bothers me not, I do know that your actions in this thread and many others is shedding some bad light on you though.

Good-Luck and God-Bless!:)

LMAO!! I heard about some of Ed's shenanigans on this forum and had to see it for myself. He is threatening people again? Why did the Recoiler post up the private message anyway? It only hurts CA if people read more criticism toward it.

From what I heard, Absolute's criticisms are correct; the body panels disintegrate in time but I have not experienced this myself so I cannot confirm that it is true. The fact that Ed is flinging threats again is hilarious. Poor sob can't even help himself! LMAO! You go crazy Ed!

Just remember the old adage Ed; "What does not kill me only makes me stronger!"

I know that I am a stronger person today than I was 10 years ago when 1 first started posting on the boards, as I am sure you are too. In a sense our critics are doing us manufacturers a big favor. By pointing out the deficiencies of our products, they give us the oportunity to improve them.  Once we do that the sales and value of our products improve and gain additional sales.

Although the slings and arrows directed at us are not always given in that constructive fashion, the end result of our improvements often is. It is the reason I continue to look for that silver lining in every cloud that comes my way. I know that it is there. It is up to me to make lemomade from the lemons that come my way.

Ed or Ken, Whats your opinion on the Powr-flite BlackMax? A CCer on TMF bought
one and posted about it. It seems no other porty has that inline heat system.
Those coils heat up the water before going into the HE's but will they premature
the life of the vac motors from the coil heat? You both sell Portys so try to keep
it real. LOL! Stern Smile

We have the same system on the 4 vac Titan machines as an option John. It has very little downside except for the extra room it takes up in the shell. Capturing the waste heat gives an extra 20 degrees or so. Since most electric heaters don't boost much more than that, you can gain a total boost of near 40 degrees by using both heating methods at the same time.A good idea for most.Smile
PS- You get more heat boost using the 4 vac system than they get drawing heat off only 2 motors.

John,

In regards to my own opinion, I must pass on this one. Why? because I do not believe that it is the best interests whenever another manufacturer such as myself, makes (possible) negative comments on another product. My view has always been that as in any Industry, there are OK products; GOOD products. And then there are GREAT products too.

Therefore, I will not make my answers to your questions on a public forum. Just not honorable or respectful IMHO.

Logically....of course you will.

I have used a Black-Max with the "perfect heat" system....worked very well! I would add a fresh bucket of room temperature water and in less than 5 minutes; a steady supply of very hot water!

Ken,

I didn't realize that the TITAN came with the "heat" option....much less with that technology!

Wouldn't the coils draw the heat/absorb the heat away from the vacuum motors?

Wow, the TITAN with close to, if not as much vacuum power as a TM and a built-in heater, with the heating boost system?
....I'm impressed even more now!

Let me make sure I have this right....

I can get the TITAN X5 extractor with the following standard features: ADJUSTABLE 500 PSI PUMP,  AUTO-FILL AND AUTO DUMP OUT CONNECTIONS WITH CONNECTIONS LOCATED RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER, 4-VAC SYSTEM THAT DELIVERS CLOSE TO; IF NOT AS MUCH SUCTION POWER AS A TM, AUTO FOAM DOWNER, CIRCUIT INDICATOR LIGHT, PNEUMATIC REAR WHEELS, 5-INCH LOCKING CASTERS ON THE FRONT, ALL SWITCHES ERGONOMICALLY LOCATED WAIST HIGH, MODERN, DURABLE AND LONG LASTING ROTO-MOLDED BODY W/10 YEAR WARRANTY, ALL OF THIS IN ONE UNIT "OUT OF THE BOX" FOR UNDER 3200? THAT'S AWESOME, LOOK FORWARD TO UP-DATING TO THE TITAN....very appropriate name!

OPTIONAL FEATURES/ACCESSORIES...I'M ASKING?

HEAT W/HEAT BOOSTER SYSTEM?
50' AUTO-FILL HOSE?
50'DUMP OUT HOSE?
25' VACUUM HOSE?
25' SOLUTION LINE?

ANYTHING I LEFT OUT?

Thanks Ken,

ac.

Hey Nathan112,

I thought about the Ninja Warrior, great looking machine, heard some good things about it's cleaning abilities as well, but you cannot get Auto-Fill and you cannot get Auto-Dump Out, also, they will only put 2 vacuum motors max.

I need the extra vacuum power and the auto features because I do primarily commercial accounts.

Thank you for the suggestion though!

Make a TON OF MONEY!
