What should be a number on blower for Quad 56.What is the best way to set up blower right.I got only  blower on 6 and 16.000 RPM, if I try to make blower high start squiking belts.please if somebody have an answer .

1600 rpm is what you mean I think.Your blower would break after 4000 rpm. A 56 roots is not designed to turn that fast.

16000 rpm???? well if it's going that fast it will heat up and the parts would expand and cease... Have you checked the oil inside blower????? too much will cause it to over heat...to little will wear the insides...

Have you lubricated with wd40??? do you have any leaks??? ie tank cracked... waste water valve open...

Is your blower exhausting correctly... if you have blockage in the muffler you'll get no power...

anyone have something else to add???

Mr. Steamer:  If it is running too slow it will also heat up. Do you not have a manual.  If the unit does not have a tach. then borrow one before you have to dig deep into your wallet.Guitar

I have a #56 roots blower, try to run at 1200 - 1400 RMS.  They work better at a lower rpm, to much torque, and they need a lot of air flow with little hose size restriction at blower and filter size.
