Most guys can use equipment not many can service it.

LEARN!!! my brother  had to.....

he burnt a clutch and the front bearings in his shaft had gone which scored the main shaft...on his cleanco classic

Clutch $400
front bearings $12
repairing scored shaft  $100

he had done a few things wrong but in the end he has learned... truck has been up and running for over a week!!! and the best part he did most of it himself.

If you don't know how to service your machinery LEARN!!!!!

Truth!!!! Equipment always breaks down when there's no one available to fix it. Keep some spare parts on the shelf as well. We always have clutches, pumps and bearingsBig smile

Kenny has one truckmount which he uses for work and 4 brand new ones in his garage in case of breakage ( that's what he told me LOL )

I had to learn it all myself, nearest truckmount mechanic is 8 hours away, no mechanic in town will touch it. Most important rule of all regular maintanence. Its a lot cheaper to maintain, then to fix it after it broke. Surprising really how  many bosses don't see it that way though

Thats Y eye chose a slide-in over a DD. Repairs are cheaper and can
be done yourself.

Hand that services your truck...makes the money.  They determine weather you'll be up and running today tomorrow or next week.

Trust me that's the guy you want to be... nothing against those who do service everyone needs to be paid for their time

I have been able so far to service everything myself on my truck mount.

Change oil
Change air filter
change oil in Cat water pump

I have not serviced the blower yet but I know how to do it.

If you keep maintaining it properly you will
not have the problems if you don't.
