When a disease comes along similar in character to aids that humans can catch like a common cold we might see the end of mankind. However, more than likely, we will once again see advanced civilizations fall apart, the average length of life fall to 40, what is left of mankind will be dirt scratchers with the crumbling ruins of progress in the background, all but the most basic knowledge lost in time. Just another ape. Has it been done before? Egyptians, Mayans, Aztecs are examples of civilizations who suffered at the hands of an environment that decided not to yield the needed amounts of food and water. And might it be that archeologists 5000 years in the future will survey the ruins of the U.S. and by confusing the words 'us' and 'we' say it was the Weans who lived in North America, assuming even Canada was part of that civilization? ------------- It's ORY GUN, not OR A GONE.
