Subject: Fresh Water Tanks

I am presently looking for a pair of molded fresh water tanks. I presently have a pair of bridgepoint tanks in one van and looking for another molded set for my new van.  Even a Pro chem set as small as they are would be ok.  I will also will  be getting rid of a 125 gallon side mount tank if anyone is interested.Guitar

You haven't been to the right ones........ don't specify the application.... just have specs on what you want and get a price...

I normally tell them if this works for me....I might need a few hundred more...that always gets you a great price

Mr Steamer is right. Nothing gets the competitive bid process started as well as having specs written down for what you want and the fact that you are taking tenders to have the work done. That is the only way you get the best price for a project.

I had the one made I am presently going to get rid of it has been a good tank.  I still hear stories of leaking tanks from other cleaners. I guess the only way to go would be SS and that is not cheap.  Oh wellGuitar

$1500 will get a good 100 gallon tank made in SS.

Ken I prefer saddle tanks to balance the weight.  Plus all the weight on one side is not good.  I think for that kind of money I might just as well go molded tanks.Guitar

Two tanks is better, but if mounting a 100 gal tank on will work fine as long as a 1 ton van is used too.

Ken:  That is why I need new tanks my 125 gallon water tank will not fit in the 05 1 ton Savana I have coming. They are smaller inside so the need for a new tank.Guitar

Theres a place in Brampton I deal with it's called stainless process....(i can't find the number right now) they will weld you two brand new 125 gal stainless tank for about 1000 with materials... just give then the specs...

I had a few made a couple of years ago.... they did a great job

Mr. Steamer:  I think the molded Bridgepoint tanks I have are a 100 US gallons each.  Trouble is GM made the vans after 02 smaller inside.GuitarGuitar

give them the dimentions and the spec of your tank ...they work it out and give you a price... this can be done over the phone...and then just fax them the info

you won't go poly???

I've never had a problem with them,I like them better actually.

Steamway makes a nice one, pretty pricey for what they are though.

I am open for offers. The tank is in a 95 GMC 1 ton Extended.  It was made for an extended van.  I don't think it would fit in a Guitarregular size van.

OCC: Rather than me take up half a page to explain what it is go to Ted's home page. go to truckmounts and look under accessories there ia a picture and explanation of the RX 20.  Caress bought a Blueline.  Good machine just too much plumbing for my liking.  I have Bridgepoint  100 gallon moulded tanks in my 03 Savana 1 ton extended I just find them bulky.  It also dosen't leave much room when you have a pair of them.Guitar

OCC: 14 jobs a day 3 week wait.  That is not service and that many jobs.  I hope they have more than one unit.  It certainly appears that there is room for another cleaner if someone has to wait 3 weeks.Guitar

Caress is only operating 1 Van, they do have a back up. I was spending 2k a year on carpetcleaning myself and referring them another 3k a year, I watched them make handfulls of money and finally after 8 stupid yrs of watching I invested 25k myself, and here we are talking to helpful people like youself 1.5 hrs from my house!

OCC:  I donot know how they can do 14 jobs in a day?  How long are their days?  They must be drive by cleanings.  Even with a bluleine there is setup, take, down even if they 2 men on the truck they would have to put in 12 to 15 hour days minimum.  Guitar

I bet they work 8-9 hr days with 2 guys, average stop 30min. Yes 30 min. They are in and out. I used them for yrs. We are usually only 5-8 min of travel time between appts. I have never seen them use a stair tool before always the wand. I didn't even know they made stair tools for TM. I kid you not. 8yrs of doing alot of bus with them, never did I see a stair tool.
