Hello, first time poster, long time cleaner. Been a while since I've gone to any forums. Been in the business for 16 years. I do everything from carpet, upholstery, VCT, ceramic, water/smoke restoration, janitorial, etc. I'm in a market area of under 10,000 people within 30 miles. I seem to do well though with little or no competition. It will be interesting getting back to the forums. Thanks

 hello darren If the pro"s on here quit arguing with themselves then you will get all kinds of info for your questions. Nobody knows anything really.....we just think we know.....knowing or knowledge is very short term ( you know something untill someone else shows you that you don't know )
Here's an example, since space exploration started all the so call great all knowing scientist said that there is NO WATER on the moon, they tried to shut all those other scientist who thoght they knew that there was water..........well..... Everything I learned about science since the 50's and 60's is all wrong, all my info is zero.....you see there is water on the moon..........imagine how wrong we can be about carpet cleaning..........maybe " Tide " is really good to clean carpets with after all..........who is dumb enough to say " No it's not "

Welcome, Darren!
I think you will find that this is a terrific board with some great individuals willing to help , but also with occassional good humor.
Take NightRider as an example, even he is a great person when he gets 8 hours of sleep every nite. It's only when he stays up late that he may get alittle cranky!
