Just curious... what do you recommend on hard surfaces for us with portable units?

I must agree with the Pro here, Johnny G (from ccc cleaning systems), and his recommendation of using a mechanical "scrubbing action" first; then a rinsing process (using a tool like Ted recommended) to complete the job. Mr. Johnny G has had a ton of experience in this area.

However, this procedure  gives a much more even and through results without any liability and possibility  of blowing out any of the grout, or leaving streaks especially if the tile had been waxed, or coated.

And, btw, one does not need a over-blown TM to do this either. There maybe ---high performance--- HWE equipment out there that comes standard with 4 wheels , but will have more than enough psi and vacuum and supply/recovery capabilities in an effort to give a complete rinsing of tile.

The answer is the more pressure and heat you use the faster and better the finished product. Now this unit works on water pressure and vacuum. What PadMan is saying is that if you first use his system it will offer the extra mechanical action the Turbo Hybrid does not have. Then use the Turbo to rinse extract.

Makes for an excellent system. Most people doing this are finding it very profitable.

You can purchase a seperate pump that gives you 1200 PSI but as Ken indicated because of the high water volume you woud be dumping much too frequently.

I will gather some pictures and information on a portable for you to see hopefully tomorrow that will allow you to clean effectively with the Turbo Hybrid.

If you are considering a Turbo make sure you compare. Hybrid is much better and will take 3500 PSI along with extra high heat. Nothing else does this.
