WOW..........Last week I tried Thompsons Water Seal ( designed for tents ) on a commercial carpet in a Chinese restaurant ( hallway towards washrooms ) Carpet is like new, the busboy says after he mops the washroom floors he passes the mop over the carpet and it comes like it was just cleaned. I poured some water on the carpet and it just rolls around like mercury..............THIS STUFF IS GREAT.

Niterider, you missed your calling.  I see a Nobel prize in store for you in the field of Chemistry.  We are honored to be enlightened by your frank approach to carpet cleaning on a dime.  Bow  Can I have your autograph?

Why would you honor me with a Nobel Prize in Chemistry for.....I didn't make the formula, I just used what was there..........

I also use WD-40 to remove gum..........what's the big deal

Yes, the carpet is stiff.....but who gives a crap, I had to use up too much Tide to get that area clean

nightrider,

The next time you use Thompsons make sure that you are not close to a pilot light or good bye nightrider.

But it will be a clean explosion with all that Tide around you.

Thanks Ted.....that's my next experiment.....How close can I get to a pilot light with Thompsons Water Seal ( maybe I'll first try it on a little controlled fire in the parking lot first )
