Hey Everyone. Need some help with an issue I have never had before. I work in a long term care facility with approx. 100,000 sq.ft. of powerbond carpeting. Recently, one of our residents was on some type of iodine based medicine. Needless to say, some of the urine ended up on her bedroom carpet and has stained the carpet orange from the iodine. Is there anything that you pro's could suggest I use to remove the stain?? Thanks in advance for all your suggestions!!ClapClap

Thanks John... I will "google" that. Is this something that is safe to use in a resident's living quarters? Our resident is only out of her room at mealtimes.

I'd be careful especially if you are inexperienced, you are effectively going to bleach out the colour with that chem. If you overdue it or spread it out bigger than the stain you could have a worse looking bleach mark.

Thanks for the response! Methinks it's best to leave this one alone!!!Hopefully over the years, it will fade out... or our powers that be will be smart and remove carpeting from our resident's living areas!!Upper
