Forum Newbie here. I've enjoy browsing this site and have decided to join. Thanks for all of the info so far. I have a question for you commercial cleaners. I've got 5,000 seats in a movie theater I need to quote.  Quarterly visits. What do you think the charge per seat should be? I appreciate any help and look forward to meeting some of you and learning from this site.  Hopefully I can provide some help too!

How long is it going to take you? Charge hourly for commercial work. $50-100 per hour is fine depending on your overhead.

Normally charges are not on how many seats you have cleaned it is counted on hourly basis and normally ranges from 70$-80$ per hour.

First of all, both of you have not filled out your profiles. ie your country or location. Second, maybe he is just using that name for this forum??
If this person is using this name in the same region as you I could understand your dispute.
Before you start flying of the handle get some facts straight!

Most people do not have trade name rights outside of their state. Hopefully business will pick up for all soon. We could all change our name to Super Clean, that would be kinda funny. No offense.

I was having so much fun I forgot what I wanted to post. I would target $100.00 an hour for any service. Once you take out taxes, costs, labor etc.. Not much left over especially if your trying to grow your business.

You can quote by hourly rate, but must be discounted for the large and repetitive job.

I have never done a theater that cleaned their seats quarterly. You have hit the mother load with this one. I can clean the average theater chair in less than two minutes if it has been properly maintained. You need to charge them one price to get them up to snuff. Then a lower price once that is done.
