After many long nights of absorbing all the information I could on this forum, I have an idea of what my first setup will consist of. I would like everyone's thoughts on my choices. All opinions, criticism and abuse is welcome. I have decided on marrying 2 Cross-American units together. One main unit, most likely a xps3 with auto fill/dump, the second unit being another xps3 or maybe a revolver. I was originally going to go with the Quad-4 Pack, but figured that a second full size unit would be a more powerful booster, and also be a backup unit to keep me in the game in case one unit has a problem. I have spoke to Ed Valentine regarding this, and he gives it a big thumbs up. All that would be needed is a modified hose/tube between the units. As far as heat, I will be using a 2HT Little Giant propane unit. I will be using this setup for small commercial and residential. On commercial jobs, or any job that needs the extra power, I will run both units together from my van using a 10,000 watt generator. On all other jobs, a machine can be brought inside. I must have a set up that gives me versatility. Having a TM would limit my ability to target the vast number of residential units that are above the second floor, as I am in NYC. I am only 2 miles away from the largest Co-Op development in the world, which consists of over 15,000 units in itself. My tools will be a rotovac power wand , a 175rpm scrubber for pre-scrubbing restaurants, and of course a good wand. Anyones thoughts on the pro's and con's of this set up would be appreciated, as i would still be able to modify it if needed. Thanks

It's going to be a while for pics, but I will be sure to get them up. I am still undecided on tanks to be honest. New York has such an abundance of drains, sewers and toilets, sometimes it's hard to tell which is which. As long as storm drains are not used, all other drains go the same place. You also never find yourself unable to access a water source. It would probably be wise to have at least 1 tank available if needed. I do a lot of fishing on the Long Island Sound, and there are a lot of marinas around, I think ill keep my eye open for a old boat fuel tank, as I have seen them laying around before and would probably be doing the yard manager a favor in getting rid of it.

A cimex might be in the future, but since my only use for it would be pre-scrubbing, I'm having a problem justifying the price difference compared to a used 175. Thanks for the suggestion.
