Is there a way to remove wood stains on a low pile carpet?
I have read that dabbing the stain with pure acetone might help,
but I haven't tried this remedy yet. The existing wood stain is about
4 months old.

Thanks for any tips.

Hello,

Mainly the answer is no, unless it just happened hours before you arrive which usually never. Once in a while you can have some results. The only thing that has worked for me, was sometimes the wood stains would have a black tint to it. For that I used "fast orange" mechanics hand cleaner with HWE. From there I followed up with Stain magic applied to stain covered with foil. I have had success but usually they are permanent stains.

Good luck!

Stain Magic and Pro Solv together. Depends on many factors. Even if you can't get it to go away completely the customer appreciates any progress you make.
