OK guys, I just cleaned an 7,000 sqft carpeted banquet room Friday. Now they want to know how much to clean the concrete (indoor, sealed) entrance floor surrounding the main arena.  It's big - surrounds an indoor competitive horse trials/show/steeplechase thing.  Horseshoe-shaped concrete floor with stadium seating on the inside and shops on the outside.

What is the best way to clean finished concrete? SX-12, Padman's op or what method?

How much is the typical square foot charge for this service?

Thanks for the help.

If it's smooth, an automatic scrubber with pads. If it's rough, use brushes. You should be able to rent one from a janitorial supplierBig%20smile

Check this site out for the "Big Bertha" hard surface cleaner, great for concrete if you have a machine that can pump out 1000-2800psi. Pretty much an oversized tile cleaner like your Turbo Tile Tool; same principle but on a larger scale and excellent results

If you use an auto scrubber, you could charge between .05 and .15 sq ft. You can clean up to 20,000 sq ft per hourBig%20smile

Used an SX-12 on a 4 stall garage floor to get off the winter grime and charged 70.00 per stall = 240.00
in 2 hours. ( painted Concrete ) worked great .

I have to agree with cmaster's comments.

Can't beat mechanical action (brushes) on concrete followed by a rinse/vacuum.

However, always keep in mind that your cleaning agents will foam---and rightly so btw---during the cleaning process and pick-up process.
