It's time the grass roots cleaners took true control of its own organization. That to me does not mean being apart of any organization lead by people or groups that continually refuse to tell us how they spent OUR MONEY on things including consulting fees, salaries, meeting expenses and conventions.

AN INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATION needs new leadership that has limited terms of service.

AN INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATION must have leaders that have no personal or corporate direct or indirect financial gain to themselves or relatives in any association dealings or activities including operation of trade shows or conventions.

AN INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATION must have annual independent financial audits of all association activities including salaries, honorariums, consulting, board meetings, education and trade shows or conventions. This transparency should include both how money is spent and who is giving it to the organization and its subcontractors.

It's time that instructors, association board members and other dedicated professionals are free of fear of reprisal that threatens their personal livelihood so they can honestly express themselves.

If your local or national trade association refuses or makes excuses to not clearly and completely tell you where the money comes from or how it’s being spent, doesn't it tell you something?

It's time the grass roots cleaners took true control of its own INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATION.

Mr. Craig Kersemeier we want an independent audit.

at the end of the day none of that crap matters....

The customers don't know and they don't care.. and at the end of the day it's ONLY the customer that matters.

STOP paying those damn dues!  Put some advertising out and get some bookings up on the board.

why would you want to be a apart of something that is useless????

throw those dues into a BBB or BNI these things will get you bookings
not any dam IICRC or CRI.

Customers respect the BBB symbol or referals from a BNI....

Lets all just for get about the IICRC or any other Organization.. no dues they will slowly die

A properly run organization can promote carpet sales and carpet cleaning to the consumer, something that the IICRC has never done effectively, if at all. We need someone to promote cleaning on a national/international level so that our potential customers install good quality carpet and have it professionally maintained at regular intervals. As it stands, people buy cheap crap and replace it with cheap laminate cuz it doesn't last.

The other problem is "health care professionals". They tell their "allergic" patients to remove all the carpet from their homes and replace it with hard surface flooring. We all know it's bs, but has the IICRC gone to the health care profession and educated them????? I highly doubt it. This needs to be done on a national level.

I will support an organization that addresses the issues of today's cleaners ethically and with moralityThumbs%20Up

Why would carpet cleaners want to work together... makes no sense to me.
I haven't paid my dues sinse 2005... and I haven't lost any business from that.  I don't need any organizing body to set price or standards, I can do that myself.

people aren't only installing hard floors because of allergies, but also because of laziness.  When they see how HARD hard floors are to keep clean ...they get the next best thing berber...LOL

give this fad a few years and then we'll be back in the high life again!

trust me when I say a BBB symbol will get you far more benefits than a IICRC symbol will

It's not about setting standards or prices. It's about educating consumers to purchase and maintain carpet. If we want regulation, let the government take it overEvil%20Grin

I agree with the fad, but we could use a little help reversing the trendBig%20smile

We need to speak with our support. If they aren't doing things that benefit the cleaners, quit sending them money. I did 6 years ago. If everyone else does the same, they will be out of "non profit" biz quicklyBig%20smile

If you are talking about the IICRC it is not an Association, only a certification body
