I thought about it a little.....................just because water dries and evaporates................it does not mean that it is still not in a wet form .

If you are looking for absolutes it goes more like high vapour pressure (wet) seeks out low vapour pressure (dry). The bigger the vapour pressure diffential the stronger the attraction to meet equilibrium. But that is with air. Does a wet surface go to a drier surface? Only if they are connected.

Don it is very important that you find out which way the water  came in contact with the dry surface was it from the left or the right so you know which way to move the air

if anyone here turns over a new leaf... it has something to do with camping...and running out of toilet paper...and the need to wipe ones buttt.
