has anyone used one? is it as good as the company says it is ? will it work okay with a ninja portable? THANKS. ------------- happy cleaning |

Have no idea about using it with a portable, I use it with a Butler truck mount and only use it when I feel I need more agitation to get quality work( it is slower and of course more thorough) . I charge .30 a square foot versus .25 with the wand. No one ever seeing the process and the results has ever complained. I am currently testing the Green Glide glides for the 360 and am finding them to be great.
I wouldn't give a raving endorsement for use on commercial or low nap carpet but all others so far have been good. |

I believe I got my best price from the magic wand co. but that was a year or so back so I'm not sure.
check new prices and base it on that. Make sure that you do not get one that was bought a year ago and has not been used regularly as they had some circuitry problem for a period of time and sent new parts to everyone that complained. If this unit has purchased in the last 6 months or so these problems are probably corrected ... but ask the person if he has the new improved speed control and on/off switch. |

| yeah thats what i did i just did my 1st job on tuesday but i did it old skool with a shampooer and wand 2rooms hallway and living room it took me 2hrs so after that i orderd the roto lol |

Prespray, shampooer with rotovac dual head for rinse only. Takes a little longer but nothing cleans like old school and the rotovac makes sure nothing is left but a little water in the carpet. If I had an bonnet I would use it as a final step with air movers so they could throw a party on it that afternoon. If you want to get started cheap, rotary shampoo with a wetdry vac. Fast too.

you dont need a wet dry vac. Just a tire brush and dish soap. Good enough. That is, if you want to get started cheap. Than put an add in the thrifty nickel 2 rooms for $9.95. Is that how you got started? Are you still at 2fer$9.95? I was serious. And I need to make sure no one is confused and made to believe HWE is the be-all and end-all of carpet cleaning. Bonnet and OP are evolutions of shampooing, further proof that a good idea is always a good idea. When HWE first hit the market it was commonly used as a step-2 in cleaning. Shampooing is what got the carpet cleaned. Still does. I don't apologize for it, I turn alot of customers away from ever using HWE again.
