Doggy pissed 20ish times on the side of a black painted work desk. Doggy food was near to this disaster. The customer didnt expect it would all come out but hoped for the best. Black dyes combined with yellow piss and mold to boot with red mold set in. We hit it with a prespray and extracted at 220 Degrees to see what would happen. NOTHING!
We tryed four of our best spotters which usually will break down about anything. NOTHING!
Just for the hell of it we tryed some of our nasty chemicals like Ink Remover, Gum Remover, Crayon and cosmetic remover with zero results, just short of burning holes in the carpet. This was an experiment mind you.
We tryed our toughest pet urine presprays with no luck.
We put on 20% hydrogen peroxcide with no results after two hours.
What the hell is in that stain????????????The claw will not do anything for it. I give the frick up......I am now a rookie..........again.........
And just for the hell of it again, "im willing to experiment" we tryed red relief and an iron. The stain has lightened about 10%....Im a failure.
And by the way we still like Red Relief better than its older brother Red One. Red Relief side by side seems to work better than its older brother Red One. ------------- I can remove more spots than you can. |

It was an experiment of all of my chemicals......my lungs are gone and the stain is still there. hahahahahha ------------- I can remove more spots than you can. |

piss and wood staining.... call a patch guy...LOL
wood rust is one of the hardest things to get out..mixed with dog piss BOMB you just kicked it up a bit.. you failed dude!!! But even though you didn't get that stain out you are a hero in your customers eyes....most would of taken one look and said "no!" that can't come out...and they wouldn't even try. putting in the work makes life long custy...[:0] ------------- www.mr-steamer.com |

Recognizing " carpet damage" and being able to explain it properly makes more profit. To me it shows the customer that you have no clue , IMO

I am still cleaning carpet today that another expert said was garbage and permanently damaged. I guess my problem is is I don't do a good job of being the expert. ------------- Just My opinion |

Your point is well taken. I guess I have cleaned spots that customers have said " I know you won't get that out, the last cleaner said it was a set stain or wear. " ......and I got it out. then your the hero.
It happens, and I stand corrected. lots of times I try to pre-judge a spot and play down the chances of it coming out , to prepare the customer for the worst , Many time it comes out and they are elated. I was mostly responding to trying things like gum remover on a red dye stain. Trying this type of experimenting I usually leave to the rentals were the customer is not present. If I need to test a new chemical. although it does help to have the customer explain what the spot might be, in order to decide what route to go on removal. Each to his or her own. We all have different styles of dealing with things... all with a HAPPY customer as the end goal. ... it all works |
