What happens if it gets ruined?
If you farm out your rugs, are you sure the guy who cleans them will pay for it if he screws it up?

I tell them that if I damage it I'll buy it. I now own thousands of them and people are calling me day and night to come clean theirs.

Yep, New Way cleaned many rugs for us over the years. Spend tens of thousands with him.
Now he screws one up. Immitation silk-mercerized cotton, ruins the texture, nap and colours run.
Now its not his problem he says.
It was mercerized cotton he says, not his fault. However if he knew it was mercerized cotton why did he clean it in the Moore Machine?
I call my insurance, they contact him, he says I am attempting insurance fraud?!?!
Beware of this company.

Believe me this is only part of the story. The owner at New Way has told other people you are either on my side or Lee's side. Most people believe he has lost it. All I know is I would never trreat a customer in such a manner.

Its mercerized cotton, he pressure washed it. The nap is literally falling out of the rug and the texture is screwed up. The customer has a matching rug, we could never get them to match satisfactorily.

Date Posted: 02/September/2007 at 10:02am
Get the other rug from the customer and send it to him to do his matching trick?? he should be able to repeat the process

Mercerized cotton is becoming more and more common. This one was actually woven over real silk warp and weft yarns so it appeared to be real silk.
The customer paid $29,000. for the rug. It wholesales for $8000.
