Do any cleaners offer after sales service?  Like when someone calls with a spot problem or some other small problem that can be handled over the phone.  Or do you use the old saying a crises at your home does not constitute an emergency at our office. I know this can probably a little more difficult in the larger areas. Just thought I would inquire.  This sometimes leads to new clients.Guitar

All our clients get a follow up call within a week after the cleaning.

For small spots that didn't come out and they are pissed about it we either return or send them $10. off next cleaning coupon. This is way more than they expect and keeps them coming back.

If we have jusrt cleaned someone and Murphy's law comes into play and they have a small spill we will stop when we are near and remove it usually at no charge if they are a regular client.  This also depends on the spill I mean a small spot.  We do not offer spot removeal for people other than our clients that is why it is usually no charge.  This we only offer to our clientel.  If you use an out town cleaner it costs big time.  Long after the sweet tase of a cheap job is gone the bad taste of a poor job reamains. This  I can do because of ou smaller area. (OK Mr. Steamer they are not my cousins either!)Guitar

Doug this is when selling your customer a small spotting kit that they can use or giving one to a regular customer comes into effect.

You can instruct them over the phone how to use the kit when spills happen just after a cleaning and also their mind is at ease knowing they them selfs can correct a small spot without having a cleaner come out again which at times can interrupt their schedule.

Does this work ? I'm not sure.
