Hi Gang, Phil from Florida here. It seems the biggest part of this forum is Canadian so I hope an American is welcome.

I am very interested in carpet cleaning as an ad-on service to my existing business. (I am a window cleaner). I have an idea bout creating a house washing business...similar to an auto detail business, only for houses. Power wash the exterior, clean the windows, carpets, tiles, furniture etc.

I did a bit of carpet cleaning in the passed (mainly detailed RV's and one or two homes) and bought and used a portable (mytee) with an ad-on heater. I want to do the cleaning RIGHT. I do not wish to compete on price point. Rather, I want to vacuum, treat spots/stains, pre-treat the carpet, bonnet, rinse, bonnet dry, air mover.

Is this going to be over-kill or am I headed in the right direction?

Regards,
Phil

It is a good concept Phil. Diversification is good.
