does anyone one run propane or Nat gas???? I want to change my PTO to Nat gas... I'm wondering if it will have the same power

Mr. Steamer: Start carring a smaller hose and park beside your client's car.  Just joking.  I think.  Iam not sure.  I think I swollowed to much gas got to get a pump.Guitar

I run propane on a 351 windsor in my van.  It costs me 42.5 cents a liter instead of 92.5 cents for gas!!

Propane if set up properly will have the same power!!

Propane also burns cleaner (no deadly fumes) and hotter (great for us that run engine heat exchangers).

Just my opinion though!

Steamer

The gas going up is the same pattern every year before May 2/4. The Government says that they are looking into this sudden surge.

YA RIGHT

I was going back and forth all week end to Miss. for baseball and I went through a lot of gas. I decided to slow down on the highway to see if that would save on the cost.

I got in the slow lane and was doing 100km. The last time I looked that was the speed limit right.

This guy was running so close to the back of me that I started to get nerves for the both of us. What if I had to put the brakes on he would of been inside of my trunk.

When this guy went passed me I looked and he was around my age, I thought I was dealing with a young guy with his perception of life still being invincible.

Life is to short for road rage to tear apart two families over someplace to go. The scary part was when he passed I felt like doing the same thing to him. Just thought I would add that in to show we all do stupid things when we get behind the wheel.

Propane is cheaper but......

you burn alot more of it

and you lose power no matter who built it.

Why would i burn more of it?

My engine was setup at the factory for propane!!

351 Windsor on propane with 3/4 ton van and 250 gallons of water --- still do a burnout!!

Seriously!

from my experience working for a co. that had all pto's running on propane.

and then working for a co. with gas burning pto's

a tank of gas would last alot longer than a tank of propane.

My first boss told me he'd only save about $5 a day.......but he had 8 vans so it added up.

I do not run a pto, I run a hydraulic drive system.  My engine only revs at 1200-1300 rpm when running at full tilt.

Much lower RPM then a pto unit.
