All this conversation over Encap that's been going around and around yet we hear nothing from the sleeping chemical giant Chemspec.

The giant has spoken.

Chemspec will be introducing to us shortly 'Roto-Brite II' (A low moisture Encap with the power of oxygen) also a new Acid Rinse with Encapsulation qualities.

Stay Tuned!

I saw the Kill Odor Plus ads in the trade magazines selling it as an encap product so I tried it in my Cimex on the commercial matting.

I did some mats with Releasit and some with Kill Odor Plus.

The next day all the Kill Odor Mats were full of white powder and the Releasit mats looked bright and shiny.

Use this info as you wish. Better still do your own test.

And just where on the directions of Kill Odor Plus does it say to use on carpets straight with no extraction??
Chemspec has always had embrittling agents in their solutions. Now they have the encaps- true crystallizing shampoos.
There is a big difference between the two.

Sorry Ted tried the new Roto Brite, was not impressed, plus at their dilution rates can"t see anybody switching from their present chemicals.
Kill Odour Plus may have encap capabilities but I would never use as an encap alone cleaning system.
The proof is in the pudding, as one poster said above he tried it and the carpets turned white with a powder residue, that just proves it is not a true encap chemical as we now know them to be.
The sleeping giant has missed getting into the encap chemical business, and this attempt will fail, they thought encap was just a fad that would fall flat on it's face, they are a way to late, just another follower in stead of leading the way.

Steamer so can the cleaner if he goes after the commercial market with a good encap cleaner [$30.00 a gallon] and the proper equipment. It is not the cost of the chemical it is how much you can gross from that gallon of chemical that counts in the end!
