What I'd do is stand it up. Mix up Prekleen and boost it with a little of Sodium percarbonate and clean as usual with an acid rinse. The yellow should come right off fairly easy.

After Im done, I spray on some Hydrocide to take care of any lingering smell and off I go.

Hope this help.

It may get the stains out Ninja, but the bacteria is still going to be there. Would you sleep on it? Or are you just telling him to?

Bacterias are always going to be there Ken. Is it enough to make anyone sick??...I dont think so.  Ive Cleaned Tons of Urine Matteress and have yet had any complaints.

As long as you can get the yellow out and kill the smell....I think thats all they really care about...

Oh yeah, Make sure that You markt clearly on the invoice that you GUarantee NOTHING. Only your best effort.

Spray liberally with Benefect Disinfectant. Steam clean as hot as possible with KK Enviro Spray again with Benefect Disinfectant. Place ozone generator in same room. Dry fog and pray.

This situation is a larger dilemma than most think. By spending the proper time and implementing the right product and equipment it can be profitable to those who have the stomach for it. Mattresses are becoming very expensive these days and restoration is an alternation to replacement.

Equipment I would want and need to do a professional job:
  • Benefect Disinfectant
  • Wet fogger
  • Dry fogger
  • KK Enviro Prespray
  • Black light
  • Mask
  • Moisture meter
  • WetChec
  • Steam extraction and dry hand tool
  • Water claw
  • Ozone generator
  • Swab testers

Now you are a professional...demand professional prices.

The real reason why you don't hear of these kinds of jobs is because most people will not admit that they have this type of problem to another person.

Guarantee success in writing and charge $250.00 each per mattress and shoot for 3 a day.

So you give the odd person their money back...no big deal. Most will be happy.

Since when did ozone become a penetrating gas? Ozone will do nothing for the urine trapped inside the matress? All you are doing is surface decontamintation and very little subsurface decontamination. I guess if you operate your business on the pretext of out of sight out of mind than follow Ted's proceedure? I am not a gambling man?? A Guarantee is a warranty with a hole in in it?

Like I said...bag it up....

$250 dollars worth of smoke and mirrors..

To tell you the truth...most times you make it actually worse, by spreading the contaminents.....I've seen mold and rust occur after someone cleaned a mattress and it didn't get dried out properly

wow choke on mold spores while you sleep...

My advice is live with it. Or pitch it? The choice is yours. But I am not going to chemical contaminate your Body while you are sleeping?

Good point. However, if you use liquid HP to oxidize, there should be no residue

Just submerse the matress in a swimming pool full of HP and all will be OK??

It will, but it might take a little too long to dry

I think it is okay too.. just do what you can to get rid of the odor.   That would be kind of hard to live with.
