The machine is freakin Unbelievable!! First off, It doesnt dry carpets in 15 minutes like the manufacturer's claim. But, I do have to say...Its the most powerful Airmover Ive ever seen (for $599....It better be!!).

Now, I can leave the Carpet dry before I leave (or close to it) without Post bonneting.

Ps- The Airpath is well worth the price....Unlike some other machines that I wasted my money on thats  collecting dust in storage.

lol Nah...I even talked to Studebaker and he claims that 15 mins. is possible IF the carpet is not heavily soiled. He also said that depending on my wanding, how much I prespray ect. Blah blah blah

I like to prespray like a madman lol. and I put the Airpath on when I done with each room. The last room (usually the LVRM) gets it the longest while Im packing up and finishing up with the invoice.

By the time I leave usually its dry (if the carpet wasnt too nasty). But even it was REALLY bad and I need to blast away at it at 500 psi...I get it to dry in 2 hrs. max (thats what the custy estimated when I call back to check up).

Btw, I dont have a vortex......Just a girly little Butler.

As much as many people are hung up on fast drying times yet others don't notice or care. But taking a high-velocity speed dryer into the home is an excellent idea if for no other reason than to show your customer that your service has added value.

Equipment is getting stronger, chemicals are getting better, any goof can make a carpet look good. But most refuse to put a show on while performing their services. And that makes a difference.

Drying carpets faster than your competitor is a good thing. But putting a SURE VIEW FILTER in place while in the home would be an eyeball stopper.

This would be an excellent marketing investment.

That's too bad. Don't most other seller's of products give you 30 days to return the product and get a refund? That is what I offer to my purchasers. Less shipping charges of course.

I never considered that. Effective immediatly, I am extending my terms of satisfaction or money back(less Shipping charges) to 60 days from the previous 30. That should allow a proper evaluation to be made of a product before my customers have to keep it. The Superglides I sell already carry a 6 month satisfaction guarantee on them.

Do that. If it is something you paid for, I shall replace it with another glide N/C for you.

No. I stole it, silly.
Remember the Ebay deal or has it conveniently slipped your mind. Two slotted glides, PMF 802 wands.
Send me a new one and I'll send the old one back in the same box

FYI here is a letter posted Dec 7th on another board

Hello to everyone,

I want to let all of you know that on December 6 Studebaker Enterprises licensed the patent for the AirPath to Dri-eaz. We came up with the Airpath technology in the late 90’s and applied for Patents in 2003. During the last couple years we have been manufacturing and marketing this technology to the cleaning industry.

Although it is evident that the Airpath has been a success in the industry, Studebaker Enterprises is not set up to manufacture the quantity needed. Our strength has always been in developing new products for the industry, not in mass production.

By allowing Dri-eaz to take over the Airpath, it frees us to do what we do best - research and development. We have several ideas that we would like to develop and take to the next level (I think you will like them).

My father and I appreciate your enthusiasm and support of the AirPath and we are confident that it will remain a great tool.

Best Regards

Keith Studebaker

Paul: I remember. I thought you were talking about lip glides when you said yours broke. I sent out lots of those N/C, and don't replace them unless they were originally paid for. The Superglides are covered for 6 months, but not the shipping.Send yours back by Canada Post and I shall send you a replacement as soon as I see that it is a manufacturing defect that caused it to break. I shall cover the charge to send it back to you.

I sent you an email with a picture of the broken glide

It is a manufacturing defect all right, but on a Green Glide 802 glide you were sent out by accident last Summer. A Superglide is built stronger than that, and would not split. I have hundreds of GG glides I took in as trade-ins from my distributors these last 2 years, and sometimes sell them by accident. They never last as long as the tougher Superglides do.

Date Posted: 30/December/2006 at 11:06am
I have 4 other Green Glides. None of them did that

Where do you want me to send it? I don't think anyone delivers to no fixed address

Paul: That is one of the early ones from 2005 that used a thin lip on it. The lip was cut 90 degrees to the wall which produced stress on the lip. They were made thicker after that. The Superglides use a much thicker lip that is cut 45 degrees to the wall of the glide. Ours is the much stronger design. It has NEVER split.

You can send it back in the tube that I ship you a new one. There will be a return address attached.

Actually Kenny invented this forum and sold the idea to Ted, and Ted pays Kenny  $ 1.00 for every post people make here.

Kenny is and was scamming you all for years now and you didn't even know it.............Kenny doesn't sell glides to make money, that's only a sideline.

Kenny called me and said that he was working on a new Tri Field Magnetic carpet cleaning wand that requires NO WATER.
