Have heard some funny sh*t over the years.

VonShrader guy says "steam cleaning may melt your carpet it is too hot"

Pad guy says "HWE takes at least 24 hours to dry"

Ninja boy says "Truck mount pressure is too high at 3000psi and can ruin your carpet"

what have you guys heard or even said?

Funny thing my customers used to hear from the POG(Portable only Guy) was not to use anyone with a TM because " they recirclate the dirty water from the carpet and use it on your carpet". lol

The reason is clear.. They don't have the duckies for a TM. Big smile

LOLLOLLOL i love my truck mount. i just replaced the shocks with monroe sensatrac w load adjust. all the load adjust means that the shock comes with a coilspring around it. they get two thunbs up. my vans sits upright now instead of whopsided.lol the extra coilspring really helps for the extra weight we all carry

There you go Steamer. Just the mods you need to make your own USP that nobody else has. The customers will hear you coming from blocks away and run out to you unit to book an appointment. Make sure you see ted to get one of those business card holders to attach to the side of your van so they can get a card, eh?

I once heard a ChemDry guy explain how truckmounts are so powerful that they suck your carpet edges off the tacks along the walls.

Good or bad, I guess one must have to be high on what they actually have purchased as their cleaner, especially while they are still making payments on it.

Mrs. Consumer sure hears a crock-full if she ever asks what's best.

no matter what system you use. Quailtiy is in the eye of the consumer. I traded in my truckmounts years ago for a portable ( many reasone but saw the oil thing going out of wack etc. no one queationed the diferance. theoperator is the key. I work every day in good neighbourhoods and do not advertise and have an unlisted phone number. I get my business from referrals only, but remember it was a lot of lean years to get here (tortice & hare thingy I guess )boy I wish I could spell tortice :.)
