Ollie...just be happy they gave you some work, and keep giving you work.........don't scare them off with the mention of a contract..........it's too binding in 50% of peoples mind and meaningless in the other 50%
Anyone who makes a contract for cleaning will include a clause stating that if they are not happy with any period of cleaning a 10 or 30 day notice renders the contract null & void.......
SO WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE....6 OR HALF A DOZEN

The only contract you would require is a sales reciept after each cleaning stating the carpets were cleaned to their satisfaction.

Hello
nightrider got your post thanks. Just yesterday I had a resturant owner I clean in Jan/06 called after Job was done everything was good. Yesterday I went by to book more work like he asked me to, he said job wasn't good, stains still their, looked like it wasn't clean. Now this is five mounths later I asked him why he said the job was good the first time now it's not. The kicker is NOW he wants a contract . I have cleaned all of his furniture (65 sofa's and chair's and two other rooms) with no problems in 2004. This a very well known place ,judges lawyers go their.
Seems that you know what your talking about thats why I'm asking you.
Thanks Ollie

We live in a strange world Ollie..........................I was watching a show of domestic violance the other day.......the woman was stabbed and shot by her boyfriend after years of verbal abuse and beatings.......he is now in jail and she is waiting for him to get out so that they can get married.........carpet cleaning customers are a bit like this woman.....maybe you should destroy his place and he'll make you a partner
