is it good to run anti freeze through your truck mount and portable units pumps a few times during the really cold winter months like Feb and March?

I was told to do this on the prtable unit. Is it safe to fo on truck mounts as well?

What's the point of doing that?

Well I do it for Pressure washers to lubricate teh pumps and all of the o rings and all rubber seals. So in the winter time they do not crack. I would think its the same for the pumps in carpet cleaning equipt.

I have been doing it this way for over 20 years now. It works really well.
